Welcome to my travelogue. This site is intended to be a record of what I've done and where I've been. If you aren't on the regular e-mail list, those e-mails will be inserted into this site. Hopefully over the course of the next year, I'll be able to post many pictures and updates, so that all may enjoy my travels. The web site is not run by me, but by my webmaster Paul Klassen. Any spelling mistakes or grammatical errors should be directed to him as I'll be a world away and will not have the ability to make those changes. His contact info is on the Contacts page. Hotmail allows me to keep in contact with loved ones and friends at home via the internet. As long as I can connect to the internet I can communicate. However please note, as some of you may be aware, not all keyboards are created equal. In Turkey many of my e-mails were very cryptic due to the fact that I had to use a Turkish keyboard, so expect more of the same. Paul will do his best to translate them as he receives them. I enjoyed getting all the e-mail from everyone while in Turkey, but please note that at best I'm getting a dial-up connection. It could take me an hour just to read e-mails from everyone, let alone respond to every one of them. Generally speaking I'll send out a global e-mail, telling everyone how I'm doing and then put notes to each person at the end. Please don't send jokes or pictures to me while I'm traveling. These can take up a lot of space in my inbox and I just delete them anyway. So, in turn, you will not receive any from me. I'll be monitoring my e-mail as I can get to it, but please don't panic if you don't get an e-mail from me for a while. It just means that I either have no access to the internet where I am (Tunisia will be a good example) or I'm doing something that it taking up much of my time (photographing cemeteries). I'll try to access my Hotmail at least once a week - more if I can. Well, this is the site - take a look around and we'll see you in a year. Ralph |
